Small Diameter Flexible Electrical Conduit for Precision Wiring
Kaiflex small diameter flexible electrical conduit, ranging from 3/16" to 5/8", protects fine cables and fiber optic lines where space is tight and flexibility matters. Our stainless steel conduits combine a compact profile with reliable mechanical protection, and they come in square lock, interlocked and mono coil constructions. Choose a bare tube, or add a PVC jacket, stainless steel braiding, tinned copper braiding or foil wrap. For harsh wear conditions, our tungsten braiding tubing offers high abrasion resistance.
Choose Your Small Diameter Conduit by Construction
Anti-static: the WP-S2K1 conduit for wiring that needs anti-static performance.
Square Lock: WP-S1 series stainless steel conduit in stretched and retractable types, with PVC jacket and braided options.
Interlocked: WP-S2 series stainless steel conduit with PVC jacket, stainless steel braiding and tinned copper braiding options.
Mono Coil: MC series tubes in standard (K) and higher rigidity (J) versions, with PVC jacket, braiding and foil options.
Tungsten High Abrasion Resistance: EC-UWB and EC-WBUWB series tungsten braiding tubing, including double-layer soft and hard types.
Where Small Diameter Flexible Conduit Is Used
Small diameter flexible metal conduit suits precision wiring in medical equipment, fiber optic installations and other limited-space applications. Its high flexibility allows tight routing, while the metal tube shields cables from crushing, cutting and repeated movement.

Small Diameter Flexible Conduit FAQ
What size range does Kaiflex small diameter flexible electrical conduit cover?
Kaiflex small diameter flexible electrical conduit covers sizes from 3/16" to 5/8". It is designed for precision wiring where a standard-size conduit is too bulky, such as medical equipment, fiber optic lines and space-limited installations.
What is the difference between square lock, interlocked and mono coil conduit?
These names describe how the stainless steel tube is formed. Square lock and interlocked conduits are wound from profiled strip that locks together, while mono coil tubes are formed from a single coiled wire. On the mono coil range, K models are the standard version and J models offer higher rigidity. Each type can be supplied with different outer layers, so the best choice depends on your bending, protection and routing requirements.
Which outer layers and protection options are available?
The range includes bare stainless steel tube, PVC jacket, stainless steel braiding, tinned copper braiding, aluminum or copper foil with braiding, and double-layer tungsten braiding for high abrasion resistance. An anti-static version (WP-S2K1) is also available.
How do I get a quote or a customized small diameter conduit?
Send us your required inner diameter, length, outer layer (PVC jacket or braiding) and application through the Get a quote button, or email info@flexible86.com. Our team will recommend a suitable series and confirm specifications for your project.
